New for 2026: Add a GoPro MAX 2 to Your Jet Ski Rental

New for 2026: Add a GoPro MAX 2 to Your Jet Ski Rental

Renting a jet ski in Kelowna is already one of the best ways to spend a day on Okanagan Lake. For 2026, we've made it even better. You can now add a GoPro MAX 2 to your rental right at checkout, and capture the whole ride in true 360-degree video.

It's one of those upgrades that sounds small and ends up being the thing everyone talks about afterward. Here's how it works and why we think it's worth adding.

What Is the GoPro MAX 2?

The GoPro MAX 2 is GoPro's newest 360-degree action camera. It shoots immersive spherical video, which means instead of pointing a camera in one direction and hoping you aimed it right, you capture absolutely everything happening around you at once.

Because it films in every direction, you choose your camera angle after the ride, not during it. Want the shot looking forward over the bow as you cross the lake? Done. Want the view of your passengers laughing as you carve a turn? That's in there too. Want to look back at the wake stretching out behind you? Also captured.

It's rugged, fully waterproof, and built for exactly this kind of environment.

Why It's Made for a Sea-Doo Ride

A day on Okanagan Lake moves fast. You're cruising past the William R. Bennett Bridge one minute and floating in a quiet cove the next, with spray, wind, and a soundtrack playing the whole time. There's no way to aim a normal camera at all of that.

That's the whole point of a 360 camera on a jet ski. It sits on the handlebars and quietly records the entire experience, so you can just ride. No stopping to take photos. No asking someone to film you. No missing the moment because you were busy trying to capture it.

And since the camera is waterproof and mounted securely to the watercraft, there's nothing to worry about when the spray starts flying. Which, on a Sea-Doo, it will.

How to Add It to Your Booking

Adding the GoPro MAX 2 takes about five seconds.

When you book your jet ski rental online, simply select the GoPro MAX 2 add-on at checkout along with your date, duration, and launch location. That's it.

When you arrive at the launch, the camera will already be mounted on your Sea-Doo and ready to record. There's no gear to bring, no setup to figure out, and no charging to worry about. Our crew will show you how to start and stop recording, and then you're free to get on with your ride.

What You Get

- A GoPro MAX 2 mounted and ready on your Sea-Doo before you launch - True 360-degree video capture of your entire ride - Waterproof, rugged hardware built for the water - Your footage, yours to keep

Tips for Getting Great Footage

A few small things make a big difference in how your video turns out.

Start recording before you leave the dock. The launch is part of the experience. The moment you pull away from the dock, the sound of the engine picking up, the first bit of spray. You'll want all of it.

Talk to the camera. Because it captures everything, your reactions and conversations are part of the footage. The best 360 videos are the ones where you forget the camera is there.

Take a swim stop. Pull up to a quiet cove, hop off the back, and swim. The 360 view of everyone in the water with the lake stretching out behind them is one of the best shots you'll get all day.

Don't worry about aiming it. That's the beauty of it. Ride naturally, and sort out the angles when you watch it back.

Add It to Your Next Ride

The GoPro MAX 2 is available as an optional add-on on every jet ski rental we offer, from all of our launch locations. It's the easiest way to make sure the day doesn't just live in your memory.

Book your jet ski rental in Kelowna and select the GoPro MAX 2 add-on at checkout. We'll have it mounted and waiting when you arrive at the water.
