Rock The Lake Kelowna July 2026 — The Ultimate Weekend Itinerary

Rock The Lake is Kelowna's premier summer rock festival, and it's rolling into Prospera Place July 10-12, 2026. Three days of loud, proudly Canadian rock right in the heart of downtown Kelowna. If you and your friends are coming to town for the festival, you're already in for a great weekend. Here's how to make it unforgettable.
The Festival Rock The Lake brings an all-Canadian lineup to the Prospera Place grounds, with acts rocking out from late afternoon into the evening each day. Friday kicks things off at 4:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday start at 3:30 PM. That leaves your mornings and early afternoons wide open, which is exactly where the fun begins.
Rip Around on a Sea-Doo Before the Show You're in Kelowna. It's July. Okanagan Lake is right there. Before you head to the festival grounds, grab your crew and rent a Sea-Doo from Kelowna Watercraft Co. We deliver right to the Water Street Boat Launch, which is a five-minute walk from Prospera Place. You could literally park your car, rip around the lake for a couple of hours, and walk over to the show still slightly damp.
No boating licence is required. The driver just needs to be 19 or older with a valid photo ID. We provide life jackets, a full safety briefing, and Bluetooth audio so you can blast your favourite rock anthems while you're out on the water. Hit top speed, find a quiet cove, or just cruise the shoreline and take in the views. It's the perfect pre-festival warmup.
Grab a Bite on Bernard Avenue After your ride and before the music starts, wander over to Bernard Avenue in downtown Kelowna. It's the main drag for dining and drinks, packed with patios, restaurants, and spots to grab a quick bite. Whether you want a sit-down meal or just something fast to fuel up for the evening, Bernard has you covered. Grab a burger, share some appies, and soak in the festival energy as the downtown fills up with music fans.
Hit Red Bird Brewing After the Show When the last set wraps up, keep the night going at Red Bird Brewing at 1080 Richter Street in the North End. It's one of Kelowna's best craft breweries, with a great beer selection, wood-fired pizza, and a laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for decompressing after a loud day of rock. Grab a burger, order a round of cold ones, and relive the best moments of the festival with your friends.
The Perfect Festival Weekend Rock The Lake gives you the music. Okanagan Lake gives you the adventure. And downtown Kelowna gives you the food and drinks to tie it all together.
