Renters Hub

Your ride is coming up!

Take 5 minutes before arriving to review the information below. It covers what to bring, where to meet us, basic Sea-Doo operation, safety rules, and what to expect on the water.

Section 01

Before You Arrive

Arrive 10 Minutes Early

Please arrive 10 minutes before your reserved start time. That gives our team time to run through the safety briefing and life jacket fitting so you’re on the water at your exact start time — none of your hour is lost to check-in.

Where to Meet Us

Meet us at the launch location you chose during booking — see the Google Maps buttons below. Look for our black Sea-Doos tied up at the dock and our crew in blue t-shirts.

Bad Weather

If we deem conditions unsafe, we’ll call you beforehand to reschedule at no charge — we don’t send anyone out in unsafe conditions. Light rain is perfectly safe to ride in, so your booking goes ahead as normal.

Section 02

At the Dock

First time on a Sea-Doo? No stress. Here's exactly how your time on the water unfolds, from the briefing to the launch.

Your Safety Briefing

Before you ever touch the throttle, our crew walks you through a full on-water briefing: how the Sea-Doo handles, where the kill-switch lanyard goes, right-of-way basics, and the no-wake zones near the launch. It only takes a few minutes and it’s required for every renter — even if you’ve ridden before.

How the Launch Works

You never have to dock — our team handles that for you. When you arrive, your Sea-Doo is already tied up and secured to the dock, waiting for you. Step on while it’s held steady for you and your passenger, and we hand you off once you’re settled and briefed.

Store Your Items

Before you head out, stash your phone, wallet, and keys in the dry storage. There’s a large bin, a small bin, and a waterproof phone compartment — everything stays safe and dry while you ride. Store your sandals in there too if you don’t want to risk having them fly off.

Leaving the Dock

Ease onto the throttle in the no-wake zone until you’re clear of the dock, then open it up. No licence or experience is needed — the GTI SE 170 is stable, intuitive, and forgiving. If anything feels off, ease off the throttle and call us.

Section 03

Returning the Sea-Doo

How your ride wraps up — from pulling back up to the dock to settling fuel and timing.

How the Return Works

Aim to be back at the dock a couple of minutes before your end time. Idle into the no-wake zone and come in slowly — our crew is waiting for you right on the dock to guide the Sea-Doo in and hold it steady while you step off. You never touch the dock, you just enjoy the ride.

Late Return Policy

Our watercraft often run back-to-back, so we can’t push back the next guests’ start time. Please return by your reserved end time. Late returns are charged $30 for every 10 minutes past your end time, billed to the card on file.

Pay for What You Use

You’re billed only for the fuel you use, at the current marina per-litre pump price. We refuel after your ride and charge the card on file.

Nothing Left Behind

Before you head off, our crew empties the storage compartments and makes sure you haven’t forgotten your phone, keys, wallet, or sandals.

Section 04

On-Water Safety

These are the same points our team covers in your on-site briefing. A quick read now means more time on the water later.

Life Jackets, Always

A properly fitted life jacket is required for every rider, at all times, on the water. We provide kids and adult sizes at no extra cost.

Keep a 360° Lookout

Other watercraft can approach quickly. Constantly scan in every direction, check your blind spots before turning, and never assume others see you.

Mind Your Distance

Keep at least 30 metres between you and other boats, swimmers, docks, and the shoreline. More space means more reaction time.

No Splash Zone

The most common incident between two Sea-Doos is when one comes in close behind or beside the next and tries to splash it. Stay well apart, never ride toward another craft to spray it, and give every rider plenty of room.

Know Your Limits

Start slow and build confidence. There’s no pressure to go fast — a calm, controlled ride is a fun ride. Speak up if anyone in your group feels uncomfortable.

We’re Here to Help

Our team briefs you on site and stays reachable. If anything feels off on the water, slow down and call us — we’d rather you ask than push through.

Section 05

The Rules

A short list that keeps everyone safe and the watercraft in great shape. Please review before you launch.

Driver Must Be 19+

Only the renter (19 or older) may operate the watercraft. Passengers aged 6 and up ride with a parent or guardian’s signature.

No Docking or Beaching

Never tie the Sea-Doo to unfamiliar docks, beach it, or drive it close to shore. Weeds or rocks can get sucked into the impeller and cause serious damage. Our team handles launch and landing to protect the hull and intake grate.

Respect No-Wake Zones

Observe posted no-wake and speed-limit zones, especially near marinas, swimming areas, and docks. Slow to idle in these areas.

Zero Alcohol & Drugs

No alcohol or recreational drugs before or during your rental. Operating a watercraft impaired is illegal and ends your ride immediately with no refund.

Return On Time

Return at your reserved end time so the next guests aren’t delayed. Late returns are charged $30 for every 10 minutes past your end time, billed to the card on file.

Section 06

What to Bring

Towels

Bring a towel or two to dry off after your ride. There is plenty of room in the storage compartment to keep them dry until you need them.

Sunscreen

The Okanagan sun is strong on the water. Apply sunscreen before you launch and bring it along to reapply throughout the day.

Sunglasses

Polarized sunglasses cut the glare off the water and make for a much more comfortable ride. A strap helps keep them secure.

Water Bottle

Stay hydrated out there. Bring a refillable water bottle; riding works up a thirst, especially on warm summer days.

Your Favourite Playlist

Queue up your playlist before you launch so you don’t have to fiddle with or touch your phone while you’re out on the ride. Pop it in the waterproof compartment and let the Bluetooth audio do the rest.

Smart Storage Onboard

Large Storage Compartment

Big enough for a couple of towels and all of your snacks. Stash everything you need for a full day on the lake.

Small Storage Compartment

Perfect for small purses and extra snacks. Keeps your smaller items secure and out of the way while you ride.

Waterproof Phone Compartment

A completely waterproof compartment built just for your phone. Keep it safe and dry while you play your music through the Bluetooth audio.

Section 07

In an Emergency

Rare, but worth knowing. Call 911 first if someone is injured or in immediate danger, then call us.

Stay Calm

Most incidents are minor. Take a breath, assess the situation, and remember the Sea-Doo is stable and buoyant — it will not sink.

If You Fall Off

Swim to the rear of the watercraft. Use the fold-down reboarding step on the swim platform to climb back on. Never approach from the front.

If Weather Turns

Head back to the dock where you picked up the Sea-Doo — our crew will be there waiting for you. If that isn’t possible, call us immediately at 250-800-5011.

Keep Your Phone Safe

Keep your phone in the waterproof compartment. It pairs to the Bluetooth audio and keeps you reachable in case you need help.
